IT'S AUTUMN!

I have really been enjoying Stampin' Up!'s Split Card Texture dies. Combining them with Designer Series Paper gives a great look, and putting foil behind them is wonderful too. I will be showing samples with foil closer to Christmas.

This card was made using a technique that is very technically named shmooshing. There may be an official name for this, but I've never seen one. You just rub several ink pads on a nonstick mat, spray it with a little water, and shmoosh the cardstock in it. That is how I colored the leaves.

I have also been enjoying combining pumpkins with flowers, etc.

Be sure to come back for more Autumn offerings.

Happy Stamping,

Janis

More Halloween Samples

I am sharing some more Halloween samples today. Stampin' Up! has a monthly kit subscription called Paper Pumpkin, and the September kit was absolutely wonderful. It had 18 matchbox type treat boxes that you could decorate with the included embellishments or your own stamps, etc. I chose to use my own for two of the three styles of boxes, and those are the ones I am showing you today. I have used a combination of current and retired Stampin' Up! products, and a few stamps and dies from Pretty Pink Posh.

I had so much fun doing these!

Happy Stamping,

MY NEW BLOG

So I am starting a new blog, which will be strictly for posting my  stamped creations. To get started, I hope you enjoy seeing these cute Halloween pockets. I don't usually do Halloween, but the last two years I have found such cute stamps that I am having a ball doing treat boxes, cards, treat bags, and other paper goodies. Most of the products that I use are from Stampin' Up!, but the cute little ghosts with bows and the jack o'lantern are from Pretty Pink Posh. So cute!

I love these pockets. Not only are they easy to make, but they are useful for holding money, gift cards, and treats, like lollipops or packets of cider or tea.

This pocket is easily made with the Mini Pocket Envelope die set from Stampin' Up! I also used the following current products:

Scary Cute Bundle (stamps and dies)
Cup of Tea Bundle (stamps and dies are so wonderful!)

Most of the other products are not currently available.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing these cuties, and will come back for more samples. I have a new facebook page and Instagram account just for my stamp samples titled Stamp Luvin', and I am planning to post new samples as often as possible. I would like to invite you to follow me here and on facebook and Instagram. My Instagram account is currently under the name Janis Morris, but will be retitled soon.

Happy Stamping,
Janis
